Some 300 Mission Hill residents attend a packed a Boston City Council meeting in City Hall. Mission Church rector Rev. John Lynch called the proposal to build Back Bay Towers “a 26-story monstrosity,” and asked, “Can a city be so poor as to have its public officials choose a higher tax yield over the welfare of its citizens?”
